What Fuels You?
That really sums up my life recently. I never thought in a million years when I finally got off my ass and made a “business” website and ordered business cards — business would just start to happen!
That combined with my writing… busy is my new normal.
Every day is surrounded by a schedule of not only things I must get done, but it is also caring for three kids. Two of which are in school/daycare part time. But home from school for the summer.
Monday-Wednesday-Friday mornings are most productive because I am virtually alone minus a sleeping baby. Although the summer has turned the house into complete chaos.
With all I do people often ask me how exactly I do it?
Most of the time I don’t really have an answer… I just do it. I have no choice, especially when it comes to being mom! But I do have quite a few things that fuel me on a day-to-day basis.

But just having the simple cup of coffee makes a world of difference in my house. It has become my vice, but I have been able to ditch my horrible soda habit in the mean time, so I guess one coffee compared to a couple cans of soda a day is better right?

It wasn’t until I got my iPhone in May of 2011, and then my laptop died in September that I invested in my first Mac computer, and it was all down hill from there. I have been extremely grateful for my tech gadget privileges, but my husband has officially revoked my Apple store credit card.
Without my iPhone I don’t think I would make it through the day, I could never go back to a Blackberry now! Oh, I couldn’t go back to a PC either. My husband and I argue over that one all the time!

I am sure I could come up with dozens of more things that keep me going on a daily basis, but these are probably my tops… Why don’t you share what keeps you going daily?
What exactly fuels you?

My work, I love people and I work with people on a daily basis. I love helping them. I drink coffee every morning, however, I drink decaf and usually I make a cup with the Kurig in the office. Sometimes I stop for McDonald’s coffee, I love their coffee. I HATE, DESPISE Starbucks, you couldn’t pay me to drink it. People generally fuel me the most, I love the conversations I have with people and the things they share with me.
