This Week on Babble

Time for my weekly edition of This Week on Babble!  For the most part my posts were pretty laid back, not the most exciting… well if you don’t count me calling myself a bad mom.

Yup, I went there and did it in the most snarky way I could. I just had to because I am kind of sick of the backhanded comments about certain aspects of parenthood. The judgment, you know how it goes. If you are a mother, you will encounter it at some point in time.

Anyway! Without any further ado, this week on Babble!

Constant Chaos and Failure: An Overwhelmed Mother - I knew there would be a lot of judgment that went with this one, but on occasion I really just have to open up no matter how mean some people out there may be. As mothers, we have all been there. And I need other moms to know its OK.

I know when I am feeling overwhelmed, those posts about how parenthood is all puppies and rainbows make me feel even more like a failure, and I am sure I am not alone!

Knowing When to Change Car Seats – A great sponsored post, as part of a great Graco campaign going on at Babble this month.  I put together a lot of good information on when you should be switching car seats, and why. I am no safety guru by any means, but I have also been able to learn a lot through this campaign as well.

It will be funny until the end of November!

You Might Be a Bad Mom If… - And we close off my posts for the week with my ode to bad moms and how all the simple things we never think twice about, puts us in the same categories as bitches like Andrea Yates. No joke… this is the age of modern parenting judgement on the internet!

Although, if I am a horrible mom, so are most of the commenters!

So head over to Babble and check out my posts for the week!

  1. Definitely checking out the bad moms post. Want to see if I qualify or if I’m kidding myself when I say I’m a member of the bad moms club…
