It is that time of year again! Time to celebrate my annual accomplishment of how long I have been blogging. Yup!
This year I actually made it to the five year mark. I remember my first blog post like it was yesterday. Complaining about my own Grandmother asking me to nurse my oldest son Camden in a bedroom of a strangers house at my oldest sister’s baby shower. It is hard to believe how much has happened since then.

Who doesn’t love popcorn?
Well, maybe there are some popcorn haters out there, but certainly not me. I am kind of a popcorn junkie myself. Kettle Corn, movie theater popcorn, fresh popped carnival or fair popcorn. No matter how you slice it, popcorn is a favorite of mine.

Its the MOST wonderful timmmmmeeeeeee of the year!
Who doesn’t love the holiday season? As the days count down towards Christmas, I find out home full of love, cheer, and the spirit of the season.
This year for our family, baby dolls are a big hit. Between our sons and this Christmas will mark the first real doll for our daughter. (Thanks Grandma!)
Last year around this time, I was fortunate enough to review the Joovy Room2 for Addison, which we still use and love. But back then, I had no idea that Joovy also made a wide variety of kids toys. Considering tons of companies that produce baby gear don’t make toys… I never even thought about it. (more…)
When it comes to ordering my business cards, I can honestly say I will never order from anyone BUT Moo.com again. I was “converted” to a Moo lover last year when I scored some minicards as a Klout perk, and then earlier this year when I designed my own business cards (with some help from my homegirl Molly from The Digital Mom Blog!) and had them made, it sealed the deal.
But the goodness doesn’t stop there because Moo actually offers a ton of different products. If business cards aren’t something you need, they do holiday cards, postcards, stickers, and all kinds of adorable stuff. (more…)
A couple months ago I actively stopped going to the nail salon every two weeks, and started doing my own nails. While my left hand always comes out like a boss, I have to say, my right hand is coming along slowly but surely.
A couple weeks ago, my girlfriend Ileena asked me if I wanted to try out Jamberry Nails. She is an independent consultant, like many people are. Of course always wanting to try out something new, and help out one of my good friends, I accepted.

So after writing up my blog post the other day about the lifesaver known as my blog notebook, I took a trip to Target.
You see that adorable notebook with the cupcakes and ice cream cones? I found a ton of those on clearance and I grabbed a couple of them. I couldn’t pass the deal by even though my current blog notebook works just fine.
I was laying in bed thinking of ways to give back to my readers, and after giving away a couple random coupons and gift cards… I thought why not take one of these notebooks and put a cool, but small giveaway out there for all of the bloggers. (more…)
Every once and a while I am offered the opportunity to try out some up and coming products, and I think I have fallen in love with one. When it comes to our stroller I am a huge fan of the basket under the seat. Unfortunately with three kids, and using a single stroller most of the time (because of the limited space in our trunk) it is never big enough. EVER.
We are always trying to squeeze and jam pack more stuff (especially when back to school shopping!) under the stroller, often with no luck or of course losing something as we are walking. Nothing like tripping over a bag that just fell right out of the bottom of your stroller right?

Hallelujah AMEN! Mission accomplished!
On June 21st I hit my boiling point for an ongoing giveaway saga I was dealing with. I wrote a post about it and threw the PR firm, and company right under the bus. Where I had been hiding out since they had screwed me for a giveaway months earlier.
A couple days after the blog was posted someone from Eddie Bauer contacted me, as well as the PR firm that was handling the company to make good. I was extremely happy that after the attention, they were going to make sure the winner got exactly what she was owed.

It is a new week, and of course a new giveaway here for Project Convert 2 Cloth! I do realize I am a little behind on everything else but the giveaways because I had a lot of last minute guest blog entries or people who committed to writing guest blogs simply didn’t follow through.
I am scrambling to get the information wrapped up so I can get it rolling here on the blog. I hope to have everything finished after the holiday this week. Summer vacation has been proving to be a little more difficult than summers of years before.

After so many months of waiting and planning, the moment is finally upon us for Project Convert 2 Cloth!
