Pinterest Picks of the Week

Some days I get trapped on Pinterest. I think we all have these moments because lets be serious here, it is an addicting site.

So much productivity is lost in the clutches of its DIY projects and recipes!

After months of Pinterest free days I dove back in while the boys were playing, Addison was napping and frankly I just wanted to waste time doing something mindless I was drawn back.

I found cool crafts, quotes, hysterical e-cards, and of course more recipes. Apparently some who are reading my Meal Plan Monday posts don’t understand side dishes like rice, veggies or whatever your family prefers aren’t included in the post so I am going to make more effort to include side dishes.  Of course if you have common sense you can make your own!

I love this project! It is an incredibly creative and adorable idea for re-purposing old chairs or decorating on a budget. I am going to throw this on my DIY to-do list which has become ungodly long since discovering Pinterest.

I love this dress from Shabby Apple. Since losing so much weight and getting back into my pre-kids sizes I have realized I gave a lot of my old clothes away. I never thought I would wear them again so there was no sense in holding on to them. Well now that I have slimmed down I am actually looking forward to some new stuff.

I came across this on Pinterest and it is absolutely adorable! Right?

At least a girl can dream!

I used to care what people said about me. You know back in high school and before I started blogging. I have realized a lot just in the past year when it comes to doing what is right. No matter what you say or what you do there are always going to be those negative nelly’s that have nothing better to do but obsess on what you do, or say. Or what others have to say about you.

It feels so good to just let go of what others care. The most important thing in life is doing what you know to be right and knowing the truth about yourself. That right there is enough to let any good person sleep at night!

Life is good!

This quote always gets me… makes me feel all warm and tingly. I think I may get something similar for Addison’s bedroom. Maybe when she is a little bit older. Or maybe even make one myself… they aren’t that hard to make!

What are some of your favorite pins of the week?
