I’m the Mom of a Pre-School Graduate

As I am writing this, I am also choking back tears. Tears of happiness, tears of sadness and of course those lovely tears of worry.

Last night my first born graduated pre-school in an adorable ceremony. But it has given me so many mixed emotions about my baby boy growing up.

I know I probably sound like every other mother on planet earth right now, but I am just taking it harder than most I guess.

They have a beautiful ceremony including the songs “Graduation Day, Oats, Peas, Beans and Barley, and of course This Little Light of Mine” which was the theme for the entire graduation.

It was hard to get good pictures, man parents of graduating children are like vultures when it comes to taking pictures. I almost lost an arm and a toe last night!

We have two more days of school, Monday and Tuesday and then we are out for the summer as well. Yikes!

I wanted to share a couple pictures I loved from last night…

This was the kids singing, Camden was grooving like Stevie Wonder, my husband and I were cracking up.

This was the best picture that we could get of him after the fact. He was too busy socializing with all of his friends. Dancing to Who Let the Dogs Out, and of course eating lots of cake like all the kids!

My boy is grown up!
