Hamster Bag: Gotta Have It!

Every once and a while I am offered the opportunity to try out some up and coming products, and I think I have fallen in love with one. When it comes to our stroller I am a huge fan of the basket under the seat. Unfortunately with three kids, and using a single stroller most of the time (because of the limited space in our trunk) it is never big enough. EVER.

We are always trying to squeeze and jam pack more stuff (especially when back to school shopping!) under the stroller, often with no luck or of course losing something as we are walking. Nothing like tripping over a bag that just fell right out of the bottom of your stroller right?

Well, this is where Hamster Bags come in.

What is a hamster bag you ask?

Well, it is a popular stroller accessory in the United Kingdom, which is about to make a huge splash here in the states. Because they are just genius. GENIUS I tell you!

Hamster bags come in sets of two. One for each side of the stroller, although you don’t have to use both at the same time. My personal favorite feature of the bag itself is that the weight is distributed evenly on the supporting bar of the stroller. So by strapping these on to the sides, it prevents the stroller from tipping backwards like many strollers do when you hang a bag off of the back. Preventing injury to children, or of course your own feet, that typically end up as collateral damage.

In a hurry? Want to take the bag off and bring it with you?  Oh it also doubles as a type of messenger bag you can throw over your shoulder or utilize as a purse. Cool huh?

We have been using this on our stroller for a couple weeks now, and love it. Whether we are off to softball for the night, shopping or just going for a walk, we  have left the bags on the stroller. A great advantage of the bags is you can fold your stroller up, and they don’t get in the way. Easy for storage! Right?

Tired of hearing about how great they are? Now you can win a set for yourself!  Hamster Bags US has provided a set for a lucky winner here on my site!
